Green Grossular Garnet Cluster Specimen
This specimen is from the Mt Garnet mine in Queensland Australia
This area was first mined in 1899 as the Mount Garnet Freehold Copper and Silver Mining Company.And mostly found high grade copper oxide.
There are not many specimens from this hot dry area now that is mostly abandoned
